THE University Impact Ranking
The UN General Assembly adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity
The Agenda, with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) at its heart, provides a blueprint to face the greatest world challenges: eradicating poverty and fostering economic growth, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, peace and good governance for all nations by 2030.
Education, research and innovation will be essential to help society face social, economic and environmental challenges.
Within the context of the 2030 Agenda and as universities have a role in achieving SDG’s, Times Higher Education launched the THE University Impact ranking, that aims to measure universities’ impact on society based on institutions’success in delivering the 2030 Agenda goals.
Data will be collected from the University of Vigo for THE University Impact rankingand to measure its impact on society. Evidences to the questions about each goal are available at the following links:
