The importance of art in the context of contemporary culture and society is indisputable. In fact, artistic expression not only deeply reflects society, but also contributes as a fundamental agent to cultural creation and transmission.Â
At the university, we seek to encourage and promote artistic work, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and culture through university outreach and lifelong learning.
The Â鶹¹û¶³ has two rooms for exhibiting and disseminating artistic thought and creation: the Arterarte Room, on the Ourense campus, and the Professor Manuel Moldes University Room, as an exhibition space on the Pontevedra campus. These Â鶹¹û¶³ rooms are also configured as creative and dynamic spaces for the cities of Ourense and Pontevedra.
University Outreach is responsible for organising the artistic creation awards, an annual call aimed at disciplines such as audiovisual creation, photography, painting, and music demos.
