Admission of foreign students to Master and Doctoral programmes

If you need to apply for a visa or other documents to study at the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ during the academic year 2026/2027, you can apply for a Letter of Acceptance to Master and Doctoral studies. The application period will be open from now until 20 June 2026. You will receive a response to your application within 10 days.

All the requirements, documentation and application procedures will be published at this link.

In any case, you must also complete the pre-enrolment procedure within the established deadlines.

International applicants for Master’s programmes at the University of Vigo who have not yet demonstrated their level of Spanish will be required to sit a 15-minute online oral proficiency test with staff from the Language Centre.

Spanish proficiency test for non-native speakers

International applicants for Master’s programmes at the University of Vigo who have not yet demonstrated their level of Spanish will be required to sit a 15-minute online oral proficiency test with staff from the Language Centre.

To do so, you must register in the private area of the website and register for the test via your profile.

Here is the calendar:

• Registration for the proficiency test: 24 April to 3 May

• Notification of the date and time of the level test: 4 May

• Dates of the level tests: 6 to 19 May

• Notification of the level test results: 21 May

Cost of the level test: €15 (proof of payment must be submitted to access the level test)

Pre-enrolment period: from 1st to 30th of June 2026

Admission requirements must be met before the end of the pre-enrolment period.

Exceptionally and due to the extension of the pre-enrolment calendar, you will be able to apply for admission to this master's degree if you provide the certification that you are going to defend or have defended your end of degree project (TFG), and you provide the certification of having passed your TFG during the period of applying to the provisional list (between 17th to 19st of July), and provided that the academic committee of the master's degree authorises it and that there are vacancies on the provisional list.
