The University Smart Card (known as the TUI)

Within the framework of the Spanish University Rectors’ Conference (CRUE) and with support from Banco Santander, the Â鶹¹û¶³ offers a mobile app providing a multi-service platform for the university community.

One of the app’s functions is to issue the University Smart Card (TUI in the AppCRUE). This card accredits you as a student, teacher, or admin or service worker at the Â鶹¹û¶³ and includes other high value functions for the university community.

How to obtain the TUI

To apply for the university smart card, you must meet one of the following requirements:

• Be enrolled on an official course at the Â鶹¹û¶³ (undergraduate, official master, or doctoral programme, etc.).
• Be enrolled on one of the university’s own qualifications for 30 credits or more, or of a duration that is equal to or longer than a full academic year.
• Have a current job contract at the Â鶹¹û¶³

If you meet any of the above requirements, you should take the following steps:

• Check that you have a user account at the . There, you can access your account or create one if you do not have one already. If you cannot recover your access details, you can ask at the students’ secretarial office at your centre for your electronic address to be updated.
• Check the issuance of your card. In the ‘My Account’ -> ‘University Cards’ section of the virtual office, you will find a list of the TUI cards issued and you can check the details that will be used for the new card.ÌýIn this same section, you must activate the checkbox in the ‘Data Transfer’ tab, which will allow access to the AppCRUE application that you must download as indicated in the following section.
• Download the AppCRUE application. It can be downloaded on or systems.
• Go to one of the issuing points on your campus (Ourense, Pontevedra, Vigo: As Lagoas, Marcosende). There, they will take your photograph and activate your TUI in electronic format.

During the first few weeks of the academic year, several TUI issuing points will be operational:
