Library

The University Library offers a wide set of information resources, facilities and services to support learning, teaching and research-oriented activities.

The University Library is accessible in the three campus through a network of eleven libraries coordinated by the central library of the University campus of Vigo. It is part of the Vice-Rectorate for Research, Transfer and Innovation.Ìý

Although mainly targeted at members of the university community, the library allows access to people outside the University of Vigo as external users.

The library is managed with a quality management system certified accordingÌýto ISO 9001 standard. Likewise, the library is part of cooperative environments such as , Ìý(formerly Bugalicia Consortium), ,Ìý±«²Ô¾±°ä±õ2Ìý²¹²Ô»å .

  • Central Vigo Library:ÌýSaturdays and Sundays between 2 May and 12 July 2026, from 9 am to 9 pm.
  • Central Ourense Library:ÌýSaturdays and Sundays between 2 May and 12 July 2026, from 9 am to 9 pm.
  • Central Pontevedra Library:ÌýSaturdays and Sundays between 2 May and 12 July 2026, from 9 am to 9 pm.
  • Torrecedeira Library:ÌýSaturdays and Sundays between 2 May and 12 July 2026, from 9 am to 9 pm.
* During these weekend opening hours the libraries only provide a study space service, but not other regular services such as lending, interlibrary loan, access to electronic resources, etc.

  • CentralÌýOurense Library:Ìýevenings (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), from 27 April to 30 June 2026 until 1.00 am, and from 1 to 10 July 2026 until midnight.
  • CentralÌýPontevedra Library:Ìýevenings (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), from 27 April to 30 June 2026 until 1.00 am, and from 1 to 10 July 2026 until midnight.
  • Torrecedeira Library:Ìýevenings (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays), from 27 April to 30 June 2026 until 1.00 am, and from 1 to 10 July 2026 until midnight.
