Volunteering

In response to the concerns of the university community, there is a volunteer programme on all three Â鶹¹û¶³ campuses that allows them (students, teaching and research staff, and PTGAS) to devote part of their time to helping others. This entirely altruistic action can be channelled through a variety of areas to respond to the needs, problems, and social interests of particular groups in our immediate environment.

The Â鶹¹û¶³ volunteer programme is run by the Vice-Rector’s Office for University Outreach and organised by the University Outreach Management Service.

  • Promote the integration of students into society and university life as a fundamental part of their comprehensive education and a necessary complement to their academic knowledge.
  • Encourage members of the university community to participate in volunteer activities so that they can channel their social, cooperative, and solidarity concerns.
  • Disseminate information among the university community about social activities carried out by NGOs, institutions, and foundations, especially those operating in places where the campuses of the Â鶹¹û¶³ are located.
  • Promote and collaborate in the development of studies and work on topics related to volunteering and social issues in the community.

If you want to participate in university volunteering, you must be a member of the community and, as a result of your own personal, free, and altruistic decision, participate in any project through a volunteer action organisation.Ìý
