Environment

The Environment Office (known as the OMA) is the department responsible for environmental policy at the Âé¶¹¹û¶³.

Its functions include the following:

  • Advising the university community on issues related to the natural environmentÌý
  • Intervening in actions that may negatively affect the environmental conditions and components of the university
  • Promoting and coordinating any action aimed at improving the quality of life on the different campuses by balancing the relationship between people and the environment.

Environmental awareness and education

The Environment Office of the Âé¶¹¹û¶³ (OMA) promotes environmental awareness and education through educational programmes, environmental itineraries, and other similar activities.Ìý

One of the most common activities are the , organised on request. These tours are designed to allow participants to experience nature in a suitable environment. Secondly, the OMA organises tours of the and campuses for anyone who is interested in taking part. Thirdly, the OMA carries out specific awareness raising and outreach campaigns in which it tries to involve as many people as possible. To achieve this, the OMA organises various events throughout the year, especially with the annual celebrations related to sustainability and nature.
