The Knowledge Olympics are local, national and/or international competitions. Their aim is, on the one hand, to disseminate knowledge of different disciplines (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geology, economics, history...) among non-university students and, on the other hand, to promote scientific exchange between students and teachers from different provinces, autonomous communities and countries.Ìý

By participating in the Olympics we aim to:

• Encourage the development of talent and excellence among students.
• Promote interest in humanistic, scientific and technological research.

Support for the organisation of the Knowledge Olympiads para a organizacin das olimpadas do saber

From the Â鶹¹û¶³ we want to promote and boost the organisation of scientific and academic olympics. For this reason, we are calling for grants for schools and faculties to organise these competitions among young students in order to stimulate study and encourage the acquisition of scientific, technological, linguistic, humanistic and/or social attitudes and skills.
