The Vice-Rectorate for Internationalisation is organising “Advancing Equality: Building a Â鶹¹û¶³ Free from Gender-Based Violence" by Brbara Tardn Recio. The event will take place on March, 13th 2024 from 13.30 to 16.00 h, in Miralles Building, room 1.

The Â鶹¹û¶³ reaffirms its commitment to a fair and equal society, where gender equality becomes a reality. In this second edition, the Equality Conference for International Students at Â鶹¹û¶³ aims to raise collective awareness and equip attendees with practical tools to prevent and address gender-based violence within the university environment.

1. Equality and Violence Against Women in Spain
   Spain as a global pioneer in the fight for gender equality. Without taking a single step back, we proudly move forward toward a fairer and more equal society.
2. The Fight for Women's Rights in Our Country
   The role of feminism and public institutions in securing fundamental rights for women.
3. "From No Means No to Yes Means Yes"
   A discussion on the concept of consent and the importance of setting clear and respectful boundaries.
4. Support Resources for Women
   Presentation of available resources at Â鶹¹û¶³ and local services to support women facing violence.
5. Open Space for Questions
   An opportunity to ask questions and share reflections in a safe and respectful environment.

The conference will include participatory activities, case studies, and collective reflection spaces to create a meaningful and enriching experience for all attendees.
